We have the exciting opportunity to appoint a leader of Teaching and Learning with Reading responsibility with a TLR to work with the leadership team to lead, inspire and develop our hardworking and dedicated team.
We are seeking someone forward-thinking who can motivate and lead staff with relentless passion and enthusiasm, as well as support colleagues to raise standards even higher by leading by example. As a teaching and learning leader, you will be responsible for supporting colleagues in your year group to develop within whole school improvement priorities. You will be able to demonstrate an accurate assessment of pupils’ progress across the year group you lead and will be able to be proactive in identifying and implementing next steps.
As a Reading leader across the school, you will have excellent pedagogical knowledge of teaching and learning and be an outstanding practitioner.
This position comes with full-time class teacher responsibility with dedicated leadership time to carry out leadership commitments, as well as working with the leadership team to continue to drive school improvement across the whole school.

JOB/PERSON SUMMARY:
Using your experience as an excellent administrator you will play a vital role in organising governing body meetings, accurately recording their work by producing effective minutes, and providing advice and guidance on governance issues.
You will need to be able to work under your own initiative, manage deadlines, update and keep accurate written and electronic records. The ability to remain impartial, comply with data protection legislation and maintain confidentiality is a key part of the role.
